The course organized by Prof Peter Christie consists of six days of lectures and practical work. The students and PostDocs will learn basic and applied aspects of Type IV Secretion Systems (T4SS) from the best scientists in the field. The practical sessions will focus on state-of-the art translocation assays, protein tagging and microscopy, spatial and subcellular distribution of machine complexes, and bioinformatics.
